I just ran 5.2km πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Voluntarily.

It took me 36 minutes but who’s counting?

To anyone just starting out on the Couch to 5k programme- be encouraged. You will be amazed at what you can do especially when you are convinced otherwise.

Five months ago I couldn’t run the length of the room.

Today I ran my first ever 5k.

My son gets married tomorrow- a double cause for celebration!

Happy running!

Congratulations, nice to hit a milestone. Hope all goes well with the wedding, your starting on a high πŸ˜€. 36 minutes is a pretty respectable time around 7min/km is a decent pace, if you were at Parkrun you would be somewhere in the mainbody of runners so don’t worry about speed

Thank you- haven’t been brave enough to contemplate a park run but I might think about it now πŸ™‚.
