Struggling with week 2

Hello, newbie here! anybody else struggling with fatigue and aches and feeling stiff in week 2, was fine with week 1 and week 2 run 1 but since then been really struggling with it x

I’m no expert but are you making sure you’re well hydrated before and after and stretching post run. It was a big change for me and I found I wasn’t hydrated enough for the first couple of weeks.

The running is new... and aches and pains appear.. did you check out the post for Newbies.. with the links to stretches etc...?

The weather is hot and humid.. and hydration is key....:)

Pretty normal I’d say! It was my knees 🤣 Also make sure you’re hydrating plenty the day before a run.

yes achey for the first two weeks,it`s a big new change to get used too.

Yes I struggled, and yes I ached! It gets better. Keep as active as you can between runs, some lovely strength and flex work and don’t sit for too long at a time. Hydration is key too... sip water all day every day. The aches are just your legs telling you how much they worked... and thus how awesome you are... as they get stronger it will improve.
