A revisit

Not been back here for a while but thought I’d post and hopefully a little encouragement for anyone finding it tough. I graduated on New Years Day 2018 something on Day One week one I could never see happening. I was probably 22st not done any real regular exercise for 10 years plus and I thought that first run was going to kill me 😳. I kept going though and took advice of people on here and to be honest when I did that first 20 minutes continual running I hadn’t felt so elated in years. Fast forward to now and I’m still not where I need to be with weight 18st but I run mostly 4 times a week. Have done many 5ks pb is 31.48 and one 10K 1:08:24 also did (against advice on here 😳) a marathon in a week April 18 and again this year and last month I ran most miles in a month 75! Enough about me what this hopefully shows is no matter how tough it gets you’re never alone and this place will help you achieve far more than you think possible. Happy running everyone ✌🏼

Lovely report. Yet another story that shows how many ways there are to “do it Your Way” and how far C25k can lead. 😄👍

Wow! Completely amazing & I would say running off 4 stone in 6 months is phenomenal! And your timings are fantastic!

It’s 18 months I started in Oct 2017 and graduated on NYD 2018 but thank you need to lose a lot more as 25 years ago I was 11st 😳 I’m 54 this year and thought I had an enlarged heart (incorrect diagnosis) but that started the journey ✌🏼

Ah, yes, I think I might be still in 2018!! Still blooming impressive stats. I’m losing the weight slowly (and many inches) it feels sustainable and permanent this way, instead of just dieting. And feeling fitter and stronger is great too!

Wow, that's an awesome set of achievements! Well done you and it's really nice to hear how people get on after graduation, just shows there are so many goals you can aim for and lots of new challenges if you want them.
