Has anyone else had trouble with hip pain after longer runs? I’ve just completed W7R2 and I feel that maybe I need some time off? But I’m enjoying it and want to get to the end of the programme ☹️

A good rubbing of ibuprofen gel pre run might help.
I had 2 brief but severe episodes of hip pain. The first was just after week 2 and the second was a couple of weeks after I’d finished the program. Both times I took ibuprofen for a day to settle it down and rested up for a bit. I found I could then carry on running good as new. I’m now running between 6 and 7K on average and all the aches and pains I had at the beginning have settled down. Take a little rest, get better and then carry on and enjoy 😀
