Almost there

Completed W9R2 today so only 1 more of the program to go yikes, never thought I would get this far so very pleased with myself. Anyway I am not fast and completed 30 mins covering just under 4 k. When I have completed W9R3 is it best to stay at 30 mins and try and get faster or increase my distance to reach 5k.

Well done. Nearly there now. Have fun on your Graduation run 😃👍

You increase your distance post C25k rather going for speed. You build running legs first and foremost Slow jogs and rest days build legs. As you gradually build up your distance your speed will pick up as you get fitter.

Take care and have fun 👍

There are pointers to the way ahead on the Pinned Posts section 👉

It’s in the right hand side of the page. It might all be in Iannode Truffe’s Q & A post

Thank you. I like to have a plan for what’s next once I graduate to keep me motivated

Remember the real "plan" should be to ensure you continue running, ideally 3 times a week, alongside any other goals like speed and distance 👍😉

I hope you will have some Fleetwood Mac on your graduation play list.

It is recommended that you just carry on with 30 mins runs for a few weeks. I then started running a few minutes extra each week until I got to 5k. That took me 42minutes for the first time. On a good day I can now manage 35, I don't expect to become any faster. Wishing you fair conditions for that all important run.👍🏃‍♀️
