First run after graduation, different hour, random paths on the same route, a few firsts as no phone, no Mr Johnson (I have to admit, I missed him the most), no music. For the next couple of weeks I shall stop at 5k or 30min, whichever comes first. Anything wrong about that? Any better idea? Thank you.

Wow, that's brilliant - 5km in under 30 minutes, I am in awe and a teensy bit jealous of your cracking pace! Up to you how you want to carry on really but maybe consider doing one run a week that is just for fun, not worrying about time, distance, pace etc. I think we are all more likely to carry on with the running if at least a few runs are just for enjoyment and the sheer hell of it! ☺

I graduated last week and my plan going forward is one 5k which I'll probably do at Park Run. One slow pace long run - perhaps extending run time by 5-10 minutes a week. One speed session. For the speed session I'll do it on grass, 10 minutes warm up, then 10 sets of 30 seconds max speed up-hill and then 1-1:30 min slow pace cool down, after sets 5-10 minute cool down. My goal is to slowly move to 10k but build up overall running ability.
