Runderwear?!

Morning all. I’ve just seen an add for Runderwear, is this a genuine thing? I’ve checked the website out and the look like pretty good quality. £25 for a pair of boxers is a wee bit expensive 😬.

It’s does say they are guaranteed chafe free and moisture wicking. They would like a worth while investment. Just wondered what you lot thought. Ta.

They're supposed to be good... however having recently converted to shorts with an inner brief I cannot praise those highly enough. Any base layer is likely to move a bit depending on how long you're out there but the built in brief... its cooler and just not noticed at all! Plus... even though I spent 35 on my Ronhill Cargo shorts its still cheaper than good briefs + decent shorts. 👍

Yeah I to have those shorts with the inner fabric. They work well. Obviously it’s sometimes somewhat cool for shorts. Especially at 5am! 😂 and some of the paths have large stingy nettles so got to have leggings on. I’m not sure shelling out over 20 quid for some running pants is the solution. Cheaper to run commando 🤣 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, I often opt for long socks to keep the nettles off! It's can be a strange look but the added compression is very nice too.

When I must use leggings I've got some underarmour briefs which are OK... it also depends on how the leggings fit / fabric works with them.

I may still get around to trying some runderwear but they never seem to have my size/ colour choice in stock.

Yeah. I forgot about long socks 🤦🏻‍♂️. Yeah I guess it does depend on the fit of them. Plus it also depends if it’s a long or short run and the temperature outdoors. I’d rather be a little on the cooler side as you always warm up!

Oddly I don't seem to notice the higher temps with long sock, it's easily in the low 20s here now. So long as the top half is not too warm I'm ok 👍😁

True. My hands are usually freezing first thing then warm up. So I end up wearing gloves 🙄

I seem to recall Oldfloss saying they are good, I can't make a personal recommendation though 😶

They are good, but pricey (I’ve found cheaper ones that are just as good elsewhere) one thing I can’t get out if my head is the voice of scooby doo.....’runderwear?’ 😂

in reply to Madge50

I guess there will always be cheaper stuff out there. Or just don’t use them? Lol Scooby Doo. Now I can’t get it out my head. 😂

It is genuine and they are brilliant and worth the money.. but they never have the size in the one I want available!!! Grrrrr!

in reply to Oldfloss

Someone else has mentioned that. Maybe the sizes are not very good? Or they just never have stuff in stock? So they are worth it over normal stuff?
