Found W6R2 harder than W5R3!! Why?

Just got in from my run and have found W6 R2 harder than the twenty minute run in W5!! Don’t know why but my legs feel really heavy and achy. Found it harder to get into a pace, the first five minutes were really tough! Am I the only one who found this? Covered 4.5 km in total during the 33 mins so I guess not a bad pace. Am I going too fast? My breathing was fine it was just my legs! I haven’t drunk as much water today so I guess that could be a contributing factor! Now dreading the last run of week 6! I thought I was doing well but do feel a bit defeated now!

W6R2 is a longer cardio workout than W5R3... that’s why. The brisk walking counts.

If your breathing was good then so was the pace... you have already highlighted my prime suspect for heavy legs, you’re probably right!

Ok... so... I really hated W6R2... but I loved that 25 minute run... keep the pace down, especially in the first 10 minutes and you’ll be fine. Have a wonderful run.

I agree entirely with UnfitNoMore , I hated W6R2 (and W6R1, for that matter), and was starting to wonder why I was putting myself through this, but W6R3 was a completely different experience, the best run of them all so far and left me completely euphoric. Night and day. Drink plenty and put W6R2 behind you, onwards and upwards to the next one :)

Slow down..hydrate well and relax...each run each week.. is different..they have to be.. to move us forward...just take it gently and KNOW that you are ready for each one:)
