First Run With Other Runners

Looking at doing my local fun run I have never run with anyone else so will be nice to see other folk while running (I usually go late)

Also water station on a 4mile course will come in nice but not usually needed over that distance is it??

I hope to finish in the first 100 across the line or 36 mins ish from last years results

It is a different experience running with others. The main think to watch out for is starting at your own pace, it is really hard to judge the pace you are running in the first km and you it is easy to start off too fast. I like to have a look around as I start and find someone who seems to be running the same pace as me then keep an eye on them as a marker for the rest of the event. The most important thing is to go out and have fun. Happy running. Rfc x

Yes got to pace it right the first climb is steep then steady for 5km I run 10km usually so know i can make the distance if I pace it right
