Hi finally the torn calf ligament has healed and I’m all set for my first run after 6 weeks. Question is I don’t want to risk too much too soon, I was on week 7 when I hurt my leg. I’m thinking of doing my first run after injury on week 4 to gradually get back to it what do you guys think/recommended?

As the guide to the plan states healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you just have to head out for a gentle jog with few preconceptions, and discover what you can comfortably manage, then build back from there.
Pay heed to the advice in the guide about minimising impact.
Enjoy getting back out there.
