On my first run of week 2 I developed pain above one heel. Any ideas what this may be?

You maybe need to watch how you're landing on your feet when running it sounds as though you could be heel striking . Try to land on the middle if your foot it just takes practice 😊

If you mean up the back of the leg, then it sounds like your Achilles tendon, which is susceptible to injury in new runners.

Follow the advice in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... on minimising impact and stretching after every run.

Eccentric heel drops will stretch the tendon gently.

Don't run if it is painful and if it persists get professional medical advice although there is advice on the NHS Sports injuries page which is linked to in the guide.

Take care.
