Famous! Well in my head anyway....

So that is run 2 of week three done.

It felt a little harder than the first one but that could be down to the fact I am feeling rather stiff from going for a rather long ride on the horse yesterday morning which has left me walking like John Wayne and consequently running like Kermit the frog this morning.

I think I have found my own special way to zone out during the run parts of each session. I don't have any company to make the tine pass quicker so I basically hold a full on conversation with my imaginary friends in my head! πŸ˜‚ Sounds bonkers and it probably is but it works for me!

So today's conversation was me being interviewed by Jo Whiley as I was running the London marathon.

Needless to say, in my daydream I was super fit and ran like one of those gazelle like women who don't sweat and can wear head bands without looking like wrestlers.

The three minutes went quite quickly and I was a bit annoyed when the time was up as I was only part way through telling Jo about my new range of sportswear that was recently launched in New York to rave reviews .................

If it works, stick with it.

Distraction is something all runners need to develop.

Love it! Bonkers, yes, but in a good way! Do let us know who you have your next running conversation with 😊
