This is my third time trying to do C25K, and I've just finished week 4 - which I think also means it's the longest I've done C25K for. Which is good. I'm pretty determined and very much enjoying the switch from treadmill to normal running; being able to start straight after leaving the house instead of a fifteen minute walk to a stuffy, loud gym has definitely made this easier. And I currently live by a river with a running track right by it, so I have beautiful views of the dark, still water as I run. That's lovely. And I've put the app to rest and started using the podcast instead. I remember being irrationally angry whenever an encouraging voice interrupted a catchy tune, or I would get distracted trying to skip to a better song. With the podcast, neither is an issue, and I think it's great that there's different options to suit different people. I think the key difference is my attitude, though. I'm darn pumped about doing this, instead of dreading my runs.
My point is: I'm actually going to succeed this time.
