Well that’s week 2 run 3 completed and in Elton’s words … I’m still standing! Bought proper running trainers from Runners Need website, they improved my running form but gave me 3 cracking blisters in the process 🤷‍♀️😂. Start week 3 on Thursday hope the blisters are better

Well done and ouch! Maybe plasters over the blisters on the next run to stop them rubbing and feeling sore. Might be worth wearing the new shoes for short bursts around the house just to wear them in a bit?

It might have been worth the free gait analysis that Runner's Need offer, to make sure that you got shoes appropriate for your gait.

Blisters are generally caused by friction. Shoes are moving relative to your feet.

Bought running socks and this had made all the difference no more blisters!
