Hi everyone I started couch to 5k in January but had to stop due to a knee injury. I was told I’d trapped my knee cartilage. The problem I’ve got I’m really scared to start again as the pain was unbearable. Have any of you had the same problem and run again?

If you have completed all your treatment and followed advice for recovery and exercise, from your GP or Sport's Physio, there is no reason why you should not be fine.
Make sure you have the all clear to go ahead...then check out the FAQ post for Newbies again.. and then set off, slowly and really steadily

Know the feeling all too well . Over the years I’ve had cartilage/meniscus damage in each knee confirmed by mri scans. Had both knees operated on to repair the damage and no longer suffer any pain while running .
The advice I was given was if you can put up with the pain then dont go for an op but I’m glad I did ( on both occasions)
