I’m a 51 year old, overweight female who couldn’t run the length of myself 7 weeks ago and now I find myself looking forward to running 3 times a week. What an amazing programme this is!

It is amazing isn’t it? I’m 54 and 3st overweight but I’m so proud of the last 4 weeks (& 6 weeks of healthy eating). I’m not prepared to lose everything I’ve worked for, so that keeps me going! It’s also lovely to ditch clothes that are now too big - my size 20 leggings keep falling down, so they’ve gone to recycling bin!

Well that was tough! Running in the late afternoon heat not my best plan but didn’t disrupt the day for the rest of the family. I did it but felt very dehydrated after and my feet swelled up so much they went a bit numb!
