I finally completed C25K with my graduation run at the local parkrun ☺️
9 weeks became 14 after a chest infection and a bad back delayed things.
I’ve gone from struggling to even do 1/2km to completing 7 park runs and one (slow) 10K. I genuinely would never have achieved any of that if it wasn’t for the C25K app.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, but that thing is a life changer! One simple thing has had the biggest knock on effect.
I don’t talk about it much, but I suffer from depression from time to time, and whilst I haven’t been miraculously cured, I’ve actually found something that not only provides relief, but seems to be helping me in the right direction.
Here’s to more running, and that Vitality 10K I seemed to have signed myself up for!
