Off I went this morning faithful spaniel by my side off to do run 2 of week 5. I go quite early as it suits me best, so I don’t see that many people and they are usually coming towards me. I was going along completely in my own little world, and because it was such a beautiful morn8 g and because I was feeling good about being out and being able to move I started to sing out loud. How embarrassing , and worst bit I was well in earshot of dog walkers who would be most pleased to know that “Love is coming Love is coming Love is coming to us all” Anyone know who sang that? Answers on a post card to .........
I must get a balaclava so I will be more muffled or try to restrain myself! Even my super spaniel turned round at that !

I frequently sing out loud and have surprised a few people and animals (sheep are largely unimpressed!)
I see it as a public duty now... maybe they'll catch my positivity! 😁🤣 (and maybe the white coats will catch me one day... but not if I can help it!) 😉
Yes I’m thinking about it now and laughing to myself! They say it’s one of the first signs ! It was such a beautiful morning I just felt exuberant if that’s the right word. We will see if I feel the same after Friday morning as it s the 20 minute run. Today I felt I could have run that time no problem. Seems so funny to think 5 weeks ago a 60 second run was an effort. Just shows that the programme works, I’m an older runner with that excess baggage, but I’m moving,, and as you get older it’s so much better to keep moving. Almost most of the people I know of my age do no excercise at all, won’t have a dog as they will have to walk it, and always look to park as close as possible to the shops. They think I’m mad, well maybe I am but I’ll keep moving for as long as I can!
haha I usually end up scaring the ducks along the canal bless em!! Just done wk5 r1 and really chuffed with myself...like you say it’s amazing...I’m 53 and overweight but keen!! 🤣 and scarey if you’re a duck......
I think on Friday when I am running up that hill I will be puffing like a puffing billy, not much chance of a song! 2 days a week on the flat, 1 day a week on the hill.!
