W8 R1... my first 28 mins... and I tried to do a fast minute early on... and I did. No idea how fast, but it felt like 'real' running.... it then took me about 25 minutes to recover during my shuffle-jog which I feel was a good thing - the recovery bit, not the 25 minutes bit.
Meanwhile it seemed that my average pace has gone up from just over 10 mins/ km to about 9:30/ km (including my 'fast' minute).
Did about 2.7km today during my 28 mins... a bit further than I expected (on a new route) so my lift had to come and find me to take me back home.

Yes, I can really see in the future how doing one minute fast bits followed by a few minutes shufflejog will help up my pace... but possibly this 'minute' was too early in my 'running' career!!!
I was really pleased with myself that I kept on jogging, as after that 'minute' I could easily have doubled over and collapsed (bit like week 1) LOL.
