Maybe you are running a little too fast or you are not hydrated enough, during your rest day drink plenty of water and when running, run a little slower, however, I would take a few more rest days off until the soreness in your hips completely goes.

My hips hurt a bit at the start but resting well between runs helped and they are now a lot better as my fitness has built at W7. I would definitely slow down too

As it states in the guide to the plan most new runner's aches and pains are caused by the impact of running, so do all you can to minimise it. Slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
If the pain persists consult your GP.
