Congratulations! What now? Well... have a bit of time to think as you consolidate on 30 minutes. Do you want to go to 10k?

Right now though... celebrate! Whatever you do next, and you can do anything you set your mind to as you’ve seen, the main thing is to enjoy it.

Hi thanks for this what does the consolidate mean?

It’s a few runs/weeks where you don’t push onwards with distance... it lets the body rest from the relentless pushing to extend runs. It’s recommended every few months. Basically you want to be running 30 minutes until it is comfortable/easy before moving on to the next goal... then consolidate on that goal.

Aah i see. That sounds like a good plan. Still not finding 30 mins easy so will stick with carrying on with that thanks

I was the same... then on one of my consolidation runs I went out to see how slowly I could actually run it... loaded up a headspace guided run and had the most amazing experience... really felt like I could have hit start again when it was over. Not all days are like that of course, some days I can’t wait for the end of my run! It will all come for you soon... kinda like week 7 stopped pushing you for a few runs, but now it’s on your terms... you want to do 5k (dunno how far you’re running) or 10k then it’s all on your timescale now... come to that next start line when you are ready. Enjoy every run.

Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3, many people after they have celebrated their graduation go on to B210K after they have ran 6/30 minute consolidation runs. 🏃 😊

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the February graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K 🎓 🏃 😊

Very many congratulations - hope you feel real good!

My recommendation for “what now”? Consolidate for a few weeks whilst you decide what you really want to do, such as faster? Or further? Or longer?

And then download the C25K+ podcasts to help you get there.
