I have out a Photo shot from Strava on here, what I want to know am I running 5k in 30 minutes my time and distance are including 5 minutes warm up and warm down thanks

5k is roughly 3.11 miles... so I don’t think you are quite, having seen the picture.

You know you could edit this to put the screenshot in?

Thank you I am in no rush as i have just completed c25k I just wanted to know

Just my comments:

1) You traveled 3.2 miles, or approximately 5km in 40 minutes.

2) You had a 5 minute warm-up and a 5 minute cool down. Assuming a 10 minute walking pace, you will have covered 500 meters each when warming up and cooling down.

3) So you'll have covered about 4km during the 30 minute period of running. This is a 7.5 minute pace (takes 7.5 minutes to run 1 km) and you'd need to be running a 6 minute pace to complete 5km in 30 minutes.

4) Don't be disappointed because I notice that you gained 200 feet during the run. Your route has a hill, so you won't be quite as fast compared to running on the flat.

With a period of consolidation runs, you will get faster.

Thanks my route has 2 hills included which I choose to do so maybe I would have to do all flat running to get 5k but I enjoy my route and they 2 hills make me work hard which I enjoy so thank you for your reply

If you want to know how far you RUN on a given time, then measure the running, not your warmup and cool down walking.
