Took a week off running to try and help my foot. So I worked on getting miles on the bike. Which I loved but I really missed running. Couldn't wait for this morning. So today was all about running for time (45mins) pain free and at a low heart rate (zone 2). Managed to do both and boy I really enjoyed that. Took alot of energy to fight myself not to Plough on forward. But I did it and I really really enjoyed it.

Slow running is one of the hardest things to learn i think. We all should have around three different paces regardless of our speed. It took me three years to master the slow run. Glad your ankle held up. Rfc x

Tell me about it. Your instinct is to run as hard as you can. 1st duathlon race coming up soon. I was out doing transition from cycle to run. The slow running helps there alone. Lol

I remember transitions from my one and only triathlon. Nothing like the wobbly leg feeling after the bike 😂😂😂.
