Enforced rest

Was going well, W3 R1 completed and felt great. Day after rest day woke up with a chest infection so by the time I run tomorrow I will have had 7 days off 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not sure whether to carry on where I left off, any advice? Feeling so much better now

Glad you’re on the mend. Take it very slowly and first just pick up where you left off. If you can’t complete it, do what you can, have a rest day and try again. A week’s break should be doable, but your lungs might still complain. If you start and it really hurts your lungs - listen to your body - if necessary walk, or change to week 1 or 2 just for your lungs. Then when you’ve fully recovered you can continue. Good luck!

Thank you, I feel well enough to run today but it is so windy that I decided that could do more harm than good and that an extra days rest would be the sensible option.
