C25K is a minor miracle - I didn't think I'd be able to do any of it! But I absolutely love it. The trick for me was learning to run slowly - your run can be slower than your brisk walk. First you are building muscle, flexibility and lung capacity, and working towards extending your duration - not speed. I'm a recent graduate, doing my consolidation runs, and I will be running slowly for many weeks yet before I start looking at pace. So stick at it, go nice and slow, and you will be absolutely staggered at your progress. Enjoy!

Thank you all, I'm so determined to get fitter, the first run about finished me off, the pain I was in the day after, but I had 1 day to recover then ran the 2nd run, no pain at all. I need to do my 3rd one either today or tomorrow. My diet isn't bad but could be better. I'm willing to keep this up
