I have recently joined and although I do some running it’s not nearly enough. I’m too slow and I don’t feel I can improve and so want to. I need to improve my well being + health

What running do you do? Technically there’s no too slow for physical and mental heal benefits. Are you looking to improve 5k time? Get to 5k? There’s a lot of knowledge in here and on the sister forums, depending on your current levels.
You can definitely see improvement on c25k everyone can so if you need any support or just a moan come on here and wee all listen good luck

C25K is about building stamina to enable graduates to run continuously for thirty minutes. It is not about getting faster, as such, but speed only comes with strength and stamina.

Hi trust the prog, it works. Take it easy and do it at your own pace. For me l sign up to races to give me focus. The people here are lovely and very very supportive. Keep going you can do it 😊
Welcome ! As long as you’re not actually standing still, you’re not too slow. I’m on week 7 - I started in September and I’ve had to do a lot of repeats - and I’m only just at the stage where I can jog as fast as I walk. That’s a lot of progress: jogging used to be noticeably slower than walking ! Don’t worry about the pace - it’s the motion that matters. Enjoy the journey x
