Folks started the Couch to 5k August 2017 and completed it. Have been running since although with classes in the gym only about once per week on average. Finding it really hard to get beyond 2 mile mark. Any tips?

Are you going at it too fast ? Try slow and steady music on your playlist ? Also, keep up your fluids ! All the best with it x
Thank you Buttercup. Perhaps I am trying too fast and losing distance. Don’t normally take fluids with me for that short distance? Maybe that’s a big mistake?
A lot of us try too hard at first - “embrace your inner snail” is the advice I was given, and it really does work. Even if your running is slower than your walking (like mine !) the difference in movement helps build fitness. As to water, some carry, some just drink water beforehand. I like to carry a small amount - roughly 250ml - because I find being able to have a mouthful or two during the walks if I want helps my breathing. No idea why ! It’s all trial and error, so relax and enjoy your journey x

Run more...and more..the more you do.the stronger you get..It 8s the long slow runs that build up the legs...the stamina and the strength. Speed and distance follow...😉
