And it's a Christmas eve 10

I did it, achieved the 10k.

It was really cold and icy as I set off and I slip, slided my way along the paths, very slowly. I then ran the old railway line cycle path. Slushy.

My calf muscles kept telling me they had had just about enough.

It was only as I hit around 7.5k the calf muscles relaxed.

I was urged on by a couple of dog walkers who I see occasionally, who told me I was doing well and keep going.

I had planned 9 but carrying on running just felt right.

All those dark wet miserable morning runs have paid off.

Have a merry Christmas.

I finished C 2 5k in May so progress has been a bit slow but was determined to get to 10 this holiday.
