Getting there...but not to 5k.

Just ran W8R1. My fitbit tells me that my 38 minute run + brisk walks took me to 4.86 km so is that Ok? Am I doing alright? Really can't judge the pace I'm going but it generally feels like I might just cope in a snail or tortoise race. 🐌

You ran 28 minutes, that’s great... 6k, 3k no difference at this stage. Keep the snail and graduate, then consolidate, then maybe work on pace.

That's brilliant! Just keep it there, slow n steady, you don't have to reach 5k for c25k just do the times..😊

I didn't reach 5K before graduating, in fact I think the furthest I ran was 3.89km. Built it up over the next week or so though, and hit 5k after about 4 consolidation runs, just seemed like the right time, felt good one morning and knew I could go further so just pushed on, and suddenly I was at 5k! It will happen when the time is right, as the others say, don't rush it, just enjoy the experience of running :o)

You are doing fine . It is not about the time , just keep at it .

Honestly, at this stage for you, its not about pace or distance. Its purely about time. Keep going, following the walk/run prompts. C25K is more about running for 30 minutes than it is running 5K.

The 5k part and increasing your pace will come naturally later.

Looks like you're making fantastic progress 👍 keep it up!
