I really thought on this holiday that I wouldn’t do much running ... surely lazing around the pool with a cocktail and a good book is more appealing. .... but i’ve been itching to get to the gym on my run days. Obsessed or what !
After the drama of breaking the 5k barrier on my previous run (thanks to a fast final 10 minutes), i managed to maintain a more even pace throughout on this one ... felt good and I had a healthy sweat on by the end.
Only 3 runs to go and I’m starting to read up on running life beyond C25K. Seems that having a strong core is key to going longer distances and avoiding back injuries so downloaded a few beginner work out plans and I think going to invest in some kettlebells.
W1R1 .... where I only managed to complete 6 of the 8 runs ... seems a long time ago ...
