I did Week 3 Run 1 today and really enjoyed it, however I did spend half an hour up and ready to go but too scared because it was too dark. Stern talking to and off I go jumping a mile at every leaf blowing in the wind and sure I was going to be kidnapped every time a car came my way - turns out quite a few people are driving about at 5am - who knew??? Maybe Stephen King Audiobooks are not the best idea in hindsight

Go you... My son in law runs at about 4 to 4.30 and loves that time...
Very well done you.. you were brave and you had a great start to your day...onward and upward... xx
Youโre right, Iโd go for some Clive Barker instead ๐
Great running and gremlin slaying. Enjoy your next one.
Well done! - I do W3R1 today as well although I wait until it is light but as I run round a block that has a nursery in it (the only flat bit near me), I have to contend with lots of parents doing the โdrop offโ. I have had some toddlers stare at me as I plod by - seeing a chubby old bloke jogging by must be part of their education ๐
Well done you too! I only saw one dog walker besides the cars so they passed me quickly and didnโt notice my gasping breaths ๐
I did find the new run pattern confusing when I thought I heard Laura say start a 3 minutes cool down so I thought I had another 90 second run before the final 5 minute cool down - then after 3 mins she said โbyeโ!
Yes!! I was the same - it was a bit confusing. Iโm just glad sheโs stopped telling me how to breath - that messed me up
I couldnโt do the breathing thing either - my lungs filled in two strides.
I did try her recommendation to stop my head bobbing up and down over the imaginary hedge between me and the imaginary stalker ๐ - that ๐น thought didnโt encourage me to go slower though!
