Well I’m staggered but I completed run3 of week 9 this evening around St James’s Park! I’ve not found a single run easy - I’m not a natural athlete so I’ve ground it out. My first park run in Oxford in a week and a bit.
Not sure what I’ll do going forward - but it would be nice to run 5k in relative comfort and not be wheezing like a cart horse!
All I’ll say to anyone struggling and worried that you aren’t gliding round with ease: I’m just like you! Keep going!
All the best everyone

Consolidation is good now... just keep doing that run until it’s comfortable... it will come sooner than you think, for proof... look at what you just did!
St James’s to Oxford is quite a journey! Enjoy that parkrun.
Now, up on the podium and let’s get your well deserved celebration started!
Congratulations on your graduation Auden 🎉👏👏👏🏅Great achievement and milestone 🏃♂️
Consolidation runs of 30 minutes x 3 times per week have made a real difference to me. Both in terms of enjoyment and the huffing and puffing. It’s beginning to feel easier. I hope you find it helpful too. Have a great running journey from here on 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🙌
