Feeling awesome right now. I always convinced myself in the past that running wasnβt for me and despite that here I am. I started on the 11th of July and did my last C25K run on the 5th of November. Itβs taken me 16 weeks but I got there. Through bad runs, good runs, time off for illness, incomplete runs and great runs. My body, weight, mind and attitude have all changed for the better. A rollercoaster ride but worth every low and high. My friend told me a bad/incomplete run is better than no run at all, how true.
I have recently ran a 6k fun run for leukaemia and got my first medal. That is the furthest Iβve ran so far and getting that medal was fantastic. Looking forward to entering more runs and getting more medals.
Next goal 10K! I have downloaded the zenlabs 10K app and completed my first run on that this morning.
If you are new to C25K, go for it! If you are thinking of giving up please donβt! If I can do it you can too!
