My heartfelt admiration 🀩

Being myself a flat-land runner, I would like to express my heartfelt admiration for all of you guys that run on hills and slopes πŸ€©πŸ‘πŸ‘

On a short vacation yesterday, I decided to go out early in the frosty morning and complete my W8R3 on a slightly inclined path... and my legs got so annoyed with my decision!!

But mind over matter, I made it! All puffy and beetrooty, but not so far from my β€œflat” time and distance πŸ˜‰. My legs are still a bit complaining though.

Again, I admire you guys running hills!!! 🀩

My head definitely agrees on the output, I guess it was just that my legs were not quite enjoying the process πŸ˜‰ 🀣🀣🀣

Embrace the hills (someone said that on TV, can't remember who now but it stuck in my head, though they were talking about walking). You have to run with what you've got, my house is half up ( down) a hill and no getting away from it here. I used to also run on the beach/seawall, which is pretty darn flat, and I don't mind that from time to time. Its good to mix it up a bit.

Loved the quote, sounds like the running version of β€œwhen life gives you lemons, make lemonade πŸ‹β€!!!!

I live on hills, surrounded by hills, they are everywhere, no flat runs for me, but I do embrace them, they are a challenge all the time but I love them.
