After two glorious 25 minutes runs W7R2 has been a tough wake up call. Nothing seemed to go right. My breathing was all over the place, the even slower than normal pace had no real rhythm and I sort of stumbled to the finish in a whirl of uncoordinated limbs. I don't have much idea why it was so difficult. No excesses of food or drink, no signs of impending illness. I guess it was just one of those days. At least I hung on to finish.
I will have a couple of rest days to recover now. Middle son has convinced me to try the local park run on Saturday for W7R3. No danger of running out of distance to complete my 25 mins lol.

Demons, 31st October, halloween, never mind them Amblerman, some runs are better than others, you persevered to the end of the run, well done. I think the Halloween demons got to me this morning as well because I ran another 5K but the time I ran it was 37 minutes, way below my PB of 32.25. of three weeks ago.
Wow I posted a very similar post yesterday for guess what w7r2 ! I sailed through the previous 2 25 minute runs. I got lots of similar responses to my post. I have a theory - up to now our longer runs have been at the end of interval training, w7r2 effectively means we have all run approx 10k within a week and I think it's that cumulative workload that gets us. Everyone assures me that it gets better so here's hoping for our final 7 runs to graduation !!
I think you have a very valid point there steviej99. Graduation is a few k away but it's getting closer. This programme is amazing isn't it. To think what we are now achieving with more to come hopefully. Good luck with the remaining 7 runs.
