Any advice please - I sound so out of breath when running 🏃‍♀️ (am asthmatic) where all my friends are laughing and talking away to each other 🙈 I just can’t breathe never mind talk

Sorry it’s that way for you, Julie. It sounds like you’re running too fast for your current fitness levels. Maybe try slowing down a little ? Your real friends will slow to stay with you. Running with asthma is a proper challenge and you’re doing great, so don’t punish yourself - enjoy your journey x

I’m not normally asthmatic myself but I’ve had viral asthma in the past and it is so debilitating - I don’t know how you manage to run at all. Massive respect ✊😀

Have you read the guide to post C25K running? healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It explains that 80% of your running should be at an easy conversational pace, which is obviously faster than the pace at which you are running, asthma or not. If you are not getting good deep lungfuls of air then you can't supply the oxygen to your muscles.

Your friends are maybe fitter than you, but to build stamina, you need to slow down to a suitable pace for you.
