My body is like a car engine

Cars run better when the air is damp (the air is denser so more of it gets in and you get a bigger bang) and on high octane fuel. Today's run was a little damp and I was fuelled by the million-calories-per-slice chocolate cake I'd eaten beforehand with the net result that W6R2 was a doddle :) The effect of the cake is most noticeable in the first, uphill km which was 45 seconds quicker than the "plodding pace" I usually try to run at, and though I managed to slow down I was still quicker than normal and not struggling in the least at the end of the runs.

W6R3 may prove to be more of a challenge...

Wow, being fuelled by a big chocolate cake🎂, that's a change from most people who would be "bloated" after eating just a slice, I certainly could not go out and run🏃 week 6 run 2 after eating a million calories slice of cake,🎂 perhaps 2 hours later hut not 2 minutes after finishing it😉

Ah no, only a slice and it was about an hour before. I did once eat a whole Victoria Sponge in an afternoon. I didn't feel very well afterwards.

I read somewhere that Pork Scratchings are an excellent diet for athletes. It was on the Internet so it must be true! Here it is: cyclingweekly.com/news/late...

Nice to see you back!

Plenty of watter on my run today and it super charged me 😊 relatively 🙃

I must say it was a beautiful afternoon for a run and I'm glad I've got that under my belt. Thanks

Yah, W1 done - but feel like my body's just not designed to run!

funny so had to almost concentrate more on not laughing than my running. It was great.... And then...

My last run was 25th Sept, and between my sister's hen weekend, alcohol consumption and then a tummy
