Anyone got any solutions for a pulled calf muscle from running? I suspect it is a result of flat feet! Can you get running shoes with arch supports?

Rest is the only solution and taking it easy on the way back. You can get arch supported shoes but they can stop the natural flex a little... that certainly is a case of go and see sports physio or your local specialist running store for gait analysis.

In respect of shoes, this may help
I’d definitely recommend finding a running shop that does a gait analysis. I did mine last week (turns out im knack kneed and bow legged - who knew you even could be both!) and my new trainers feel amazing and seem to be really helping with a reoccurring injury. I was really reluctant to go as I’ve only just started doing this so thought they might be a bit snobby but they were really nice and helpful. Trainers were a bit more expensive but I really feel like it has made a big difference.
Yes that seems to be the consensus of good advice. Many thanks for letting me know.
