Was so geared up and excited to start C25K, literally did my first run and that was it. Plantar Fasciitis back with a vengeance. Been told to rest it, stretch it & ice it. I'm so disappointed, and know it can take months to heal. Anyone else a sufferer?

Hi

Yes I am... I graduated a few weeks ago, no signs during the 9 weeks, and did a couple of weeks consolidating, kept up the 3 x 30 mins a week, although not getting to 5k. Then bang, like you after one run it started, not knowing what it was I tried to continue on it. I learned, through this forum there are a few more sufferers who came up with good advice, but in summary, rest, stretch, ice like you said. There are some good cushioned insoles and shoes that help with the pain, but it's still patience needed.

I am trying not to lose the enormous benefits I felt from completing this, by rowing and cycling, but its not the same....

Good luck, get well and get back at it!

Kim
