I did my first week 7 run on Tuesday and it was really hard at the end I think I could have walked the last 5 minutes faster! That night I started with a cold. My question is should I still run tomorrow or should I miss a few days? My chest is a little tight today. I don’t want to not run I just don’t know what’s best 😟

No do not run with a cold. You need to be fit to complete the runs, take a break, you will comeback fitter and stronger and you'll smash the next one!

If the cold is on your chest, I’d advice against a run. Just a sniffle, go for it. Obviously this one is. You’ll be back in a few days.

If your chest is tight...don't run.. above the neck, usually fine.. below, is a no-go. The run will still be there.. and you will enjoy it more if you feel better:)

At week 7 you will be getting pretty fit. It doesn't, as you've noticed, stop you getting colds, but you will probably recover faster than you are used to.

Listen to your body. As Oldfloss says: headcold - run if you want to, chest infection - wait until better.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.🙏
