Still taking it easy but my son and I did run a faster pace and he had no knee pain this time..

Looking forward to running in a group of C2 5K newbies and (finally) progress to the week 2 programme.

Only 1 more week! 😸

You’re doing really well. Don’t take this the wrong way, but pace isn’t important. Pain free kids are always better than those in pain, so that’s great. Great that you’re doing this together... all that parent/son time you’ll have is focused on something really positive for both your futures.

Why not try week 2 a little while you wait for the group? It won’t hurt in the slightest and going back won’t either, but you’ll be stronger for it.

Thanks Unfitnomore. Maybe the next run we can try a Week2 run and we can decide what to do the day after....
