I want to get back into running and a much younger and fitter friend recommended C25K. I ran W1R1 on Tuesday and felt great although there was a slight glitch on a 1:5 hill when I accidentally “paused” Laura and ran about 6 minutes (to Born Slippy no less!) I stopped just before my head and/or heart exploded, but the rest of the routine felt really easy! O’ve now got a proper belt for my phone so hopefully there’ll be no unfortunate button-hitting this evening 🤪
Hey ho, let’s go!: I want to get back into... - Couch to 5K
Hey ho, let’s go!
6 minutes, you have gone to almost week 5 when it should have been week 1,no wonder you felt like as if you were about to explod
Great start... I must put nuxx onto my playlist. Well done.
I've loved compiling playlists since my first tape deck - this is a great excuse (Stumblin', Nuxx, Ray of Light, Jealous Again and Send Me On My Way this evening) there's 1hr 44 min on the playlist though so I'll have to shuffle! It's "This Girl Can" on Spotify if you're interested x
I dropped Spotify... and I’m more into fast and loud metal... but I’m slowly growing a playlist that 99.9% of the population will hate!
Nice work! There's no point wasting personal listening time on any old nonsense is there? Oh, wait - that's what I do!
I went premium on Spotify as it had a feature that matched your music to your footfall... then they removed it... I hadn’t even started running 😂
I can listen to most things... as long as it’s loud!
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

Enjoy your journey.
Thank you Mr Truffe - what a great guide! I know I can do it but that's not the same as actually doing it, is it? I need the structure and routine and of course the encouragement! I'm feeling very optimistic and am looking forward to a healthier and more active me x
