Please could owners of Garmin 235 Forerunner tell me if it’s easy to read the display in sunlight and wearing sunglasses? I have read reviews but they seem to vary. Also, I’m slightly concerned that it could look/feel too big on my wrist. Thank you

Yes - dead easy. The display isn’t like a phone display - it's more like the screen on a Kindle. The brighter the light the easier it is to read, even with dark sunglasses on. Love my 235 😍

Yes, I've never had any difficulty reading the display on my FR235, regardless of lighting conditions. With or without sunglasses. I suspect that some polarized sunglasses may make the display harder to read, but that is physics for you.

You may want to try on the FR235 before buying it. Yes, it has a large diameter and stands quite high compared with a 'normal' watch. But as far as running watches go, it is not the largest, and you'll get used to it quickly.
