Hello everyone. Second day of first week. Sore everywherešŸ˜¢.

Question: can you listen to music by this app while running?

Is this app gives you info about your run? Calory burn or distance?

Yes I listen to Spotify - make your own list or select one..Or listen to other music on your phone. The C25K will come in over the top and lower the music whilst youā€™re getting the update.

Download an app for distance speed etc. However youā€™ll need a device to measure heart rate. Look on eBay for second hand. Or spend as much as you want on something like a Garmin!

Well done on starting program, the soreness should get easier as long as you take at least one days break to recover. I set my music going and then start the app. There are a few similar apps , the official one doesnā€™t talk calories and distance. Hope this helps. Happy running x

I listen to my iTunes. Turn it on before you turn on the C25K app. The app will turn the music down while you get instructions.

Thatā€™s all the app does, Iā€™m afraid. It tracks your runs but itā€™s not the last one you did. So if you repeat a run, the first run gets deleted.

I think theyā€™re really missing a trick there.

Turn on your music before you start the app.

App tracks nothing but duration, but atm that's the only thing you should be worrying about.

Have fun :-)

Well done abadan for getting started. The soreness will pass as your body gets used to it. Yes I made up a running playlist in my iTunes and listed to it while using the app. In the early weeks it is probably best to focus on just completing the runs for the duration, however as you advance into later weeks (Iā€™m on week 7) I do think itā€™s helpful to track your pace/distance/route etc. I recommend one of the apps from under armour - MapMyRun, MapMyFitness etc they do all this for you as well as syncing with MyFitnessPal app and Fitbit if you use these to track calories/exercise etc. Good luck for the rest of the programme
