How have people here increased thier pace ? I find it really hard to judge if I'm running faster or slower than my last run, my last 28 minute run was my best pace but didn't feel any faster , how can you monitor your pace or set yourself a pace to keep to ?

Strava is a great app to measure distance but there are plenty of others out there that are also free.

Do you not know if you have gone further by needing to extend your route?

I have been changing my route to stop boredom. But that would be a good way to measure 👍

During C25K I ran with Strava on my phone which continually updates to show your current pace. It really helped me slow down when it showed I had set off too fast.

If you are mid programme, then you should be running at an easy conversational pace, as defined in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There is no need to run harder than this during C25K. Speed will come later.

There are many tracking apps you can use on a smartphone, or you can use a Fitbit or running watch.

Concentrate on building stamina at the moment and keep speed for post graduation.
