My ability to leg it!

Have been doing C25K for 5 weeks but had to take a few days off due to pulling a muscle in my back.

However, did an unanticipated run yesterday in a busy London street, in business dress, when some moron on a bike wrestled my mobile phone out of my hand and sped off 😩! Without thinking I ran after him screaming like a banshee for someone to stop him.

Of course, and probably fortunately, I did not catch up with him and gave up after a couple of hundred yards.

The good news is that I was almost as immediately shocked that I had run along the street and not collapsed in a breathless heap as I was to find I now had no phone. One of my first thoughts was, I hope I've not lost my C25K data!

I feel like a reformed character!

Message is, don't walk down the street in London, or elsewhere probably, texting instead of watching out for idiots like this. I am reassured that if necessary, I could leg it in the other direction now, should I need to🙂🙂

On to run 3 of week 5 tomorrow (should have a new phone by then).

Not sure if I should commiserate or congratulate! So I shall do both!

I’m sorry your phone was snatched like that. At least you weren’t hurt and you never know, the cyclist may have fallen off later and smashed it! 🤪

A big well done for the running!! You’re nearly into Week 6 and it is clearly showing. You’re doing an amazing job! 💪🏻
