Enforced break.

Well a week ago I volunteered at my first parkrun. I had a bit of a busy week so had done strength training but no running. I didn’t know it was going to lead to another non-run week due to a summer cold. Friday I took myself back to the gym, this morning I pulled on my trainers and did a 3.5 k run/walk, just to ease myself back in.

I just got home from volunteering at junior parkrun. Little miss UMN used it for W3R1 and is doing great.

Well done for volunteering, parkrun can’t happen without us!

Great that you got the trainers back on... go you!

People are so lovely. I thank the volunteers as I pass but didn't realise how many people do.
