Disputes with the community and how you should deal with them.

As some of you might know we have had a couple of posts recently that stemmed from differences of opinions. I totally understand that with the volume of people we now have on the site this will happen and I tend to let them see out their course especially when I can see both sides. What I I don’t like is when that spills over into other posts and four days later we are still hashing over the same stuff and some people have firmly taken sides.

If anyone feels they need to “vent” about something on the site they don’t like, the correct course of action is to message the admins. The forum can very quickly become divided and a totally different place when this happens and it happens very fast.

I would hate for us to lose this wonderful place that we share, encourage and support each other because differences of opinion hadn't been sorted through the correct channel.

Please do not message people with anger if you disagree with them, that is not acceptable. We do not gang up on people. The correct course of action with a disagreement is through the admins.

I would like to remind everyone we still have the three strike rule. Three breaches of forum etiquette and you will be restricted. Again if it is deemed really bad we will restrict straight away. So please keep this in mind.

I have hardly ever had to write a post like this but the last time the forum was like this it was over the same issue. So let me be clear.

The program is to run for 30 mins not 5km

Yes the name is such because it is a catchy title

No it doesn’t seem fair to raise everyone’s expectations

Some can do it some can’t

But what the forum does so well is support fast paced and slow paced runners alike

Yes we are all runners and should be proud.

I am turning off the replies to this post because it is just for your information not for comment on.
