Not quite a superhero... yet

Completed w8r2 in this heat! Very very proud of myself, despite my bright beetroot face.

I was clearly struggling today, but the support of random strangers was a fantastic feeling. One lady told me I was a hero and it made me smile all the way home 💪🏻🏃‍♀️

Love how a little comment can go a long way. Have made a pledge to give a smile or word of encouragement to every runner I see. Anyone else going to join me in my quest to suppor other runner?

You are most def a superhero for running in this heat & W8 too! Well done. Yes - i’m with u - i always smile at runners now but don’t say anything- I don’t want to break their stride!

I will! I did my W8R3 this morning and I’ve found places I didn’t know sweated!! I frightened a small dog also (I was trying to give it a wide berth). Every walker/jogger/random person I’ve seen has either ignored me or smiled so all good. Well done us. See you at graduation.
