In all honesty, I've never had a cat or a dog but I've just spotted the race above on virtual runner and it really made me smile. Very, very cute bling!

So, which team would you run for - cat or dog?

Whew! At first glance I thought you had to run with your pet of choice. I frequently run with my dog, but was trying to envisage running with the cats...

I'm looking at a soltice run where there is a category for people running with their dog. I'm assuming the start will be deafening with the sound of excitable barking ☺

Canicross is a big sport and getting bigger all the time apparently. there are even OCRs with dogs now too. Can't say I fancy it. I love running with my dog but I am not sure she would enjoy/undertsand racing en masse.

Theres loads of dogs at our parkrun, its fab !

Theres a man who runs with a wolf/husky type dog, they are so fast, then we have Collies, Jack Russells , labradors , they are all chomping at the bit at the start to get going , Ha ha I love it

Same at our Parkrun too. My favourite dog related occurrences are;

1. The poor woman who I overtook 3 times as she kept having to stop to poop scoop

2. The lady who's huge rottweiler kept stopping to drink out if the puddles until she could manage to drag it out

Maybe it would be easier to run with cats ....

Ha ha !! I saw a dog just seconds after the start stopping to have a poo , mustve been all the excitement ha ha !
